POINT was established by a group of Syrians and is located in Gaziantep, Turkey. As an organic NGO the co-founders of PONT realized the crucial capacity gaps and needs for the Syrian civil society to play a greater role in improving the response to the Syrian crisis and better contribute to the stabilization of their conflict-affected country. POINT provides capacity development to the Syrian local civil society actors as well as local staff in INGOs. This is in order to strengthen their voice, increase their impact and bring about the development of a diverse, inclusive and independent civil society.
To build and develop the capacity of individuals and groups in local communities, and enhance peace-building activities for better disaster response and risk reduction.
Introduction the Position
We are looking for someone that has experience working in OCD Program Coordinator. Must a strong communicator. We are growing and need someone that can hit the ground running!
The candidate is also should be well-organized to help organizing archiving
Support P.M in developing project proposal.
Support the OCD team in developing the OCA tool based on project requirement.
Take the lead in reporting the OCA outcomes and results.
Supporting in OCA conducting and coaching.
Developing organization’s policies according to their needs.
Meeting with partners to know their needs and analyze these requires into work plan.
Taking the lead in managing OCD projects under the supervision of the program manager.
Supporting program managing in admin report and action plan (monthly).
Conducting OCD section in Turkey.
Converting polices into procedure.
Developing SOPs for the operational sections.
Developing manuals of all departments.
Bachelor business administration in economic science.
2 years of experience at least in NGOs.
5 years of experience in administration.
Working under pressure.
Ability to travel around Turkey.
Excellent in English (writing and speaking).
Excellent in Arabic (writing and speaking).
Reporting: OCD Coordinator reports to Program Manager.
The contract period: Employment contract for 12 months – able to be renewed.
Location: Gaziantep – Turkey
