Job Description

 

PR and Communications Officer

 

£18,895 - £22,207 per annum (it is our practice to appoint new staff on the bottom of the scale but there are opportunities for pay progression)

 

35 hours a week, including some evenings and weekends

 

Martin House is a well-established, leading regional charity providing care and support to children and young people with life- limiting illnesses, and to their families. We care for children and young people across West, North and East Yorkshire at our hospice, based in Boston Spa, and also through our work in the community.

 

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Marketing and Communications department and play a key role in developing and implementing effective communications for the hospice across all key functions.

 

The role will include developing, managing and implementing integrated media plans to ensure opportunities are fully maximised and keeping effective contact with relevant media contacts.

 

The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be an excellent communicator with previous experience in communication and public relations.
